The Branch of Microbiology at the College of Veterinary Medicine held a purposeful awareness campaign on the dangers of mobile phone addiction, under the supervision of Asst. Lect. Hawraa Ahmed Mohammed.
The campaign included displaying guidance posters in the college corridors and among the students to stress the importance of using time properly and avoiding isolation in the virtual world at the expense of reality and social relationships. The campaign also aimed to spread a culture of digital awareness and to warn of the psychological and social effects resulting from the excessive use of smartphones.
