Assistant President of the University of Shatrah for Administrative Affairs meets with the Chairman of Dhi Qar Provincial Council to discuss prospects for joint cooperation

The Assistant President of the University of Shatrah for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Raed Majeed Jabbar, met with the Chairman of the Dhi Qar Provincial Council, Mr. Azza Odeh Al-Nashi, in the presence of the provincial council member Eng. Rawasi Al-Jabri, On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation between the university and the local government.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of files of common interest, foremost of which is supporting the educational sector and developing the university environment, in a way that contributes to improving the level of services provided to students and enhancing the process of higher education in Dhi Qar Governorate.

وأكد الأستاذ الدكتور رائد مجيد جبار أهمية توسيع آفاق التعاون والتنسيق مع مجلس محافظة ذي قار، بما يسهم في دعم خطط University of Shatrah التطويرية وتمكينها من أداء رسالتها الأكاديمية والمجتمعية على الوجه الأمثل.

من جانبه، أشاد رئيس مجلس محافظة ذي قار الأستاذ عزة عودة الناشي بالدور الذي تؤديه University of Shatrah في إعداد الكفاءات العلمية وخدمة المجتمع، مؤكدًا حرص مجلس المحافظة على دعم المؤسسات الأكاديمية وتوفير الإمكانات اللازمة لإنجاح مشاريعها، بما ينعكس إيجابًا على مسيرة التعليم العالي وخدمة أبناء المحافظة.
