In a new scientific achievement added to the academic output of the University of Shatrah, Dr. Ghosun Nasser Halim Al-Aboudi, a lecturer at the university, participated in writing a specialized scientific book entitled: “Organizational Sustainability: An Integrated Perspective” Organizational Sustainability
The book came with the participation of Professor Dr. Yousef Hajim Sultan Al-Taie from the University of Kufa, and Dr. Baqir Khudair Al-Hadrawi from the University of the Middle Euphrates, and was issued by Dar Al-Safaa for Printing, Publishing and Distribution in Amman - the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in cooperation with the Dar Al-Sadiq Cultural Foundation in Babylon.
The book provides a comprehensive scientific vision of the concept of organizational sustainability and its requirements in the contemporary business environment, in light of digital transformation, the growing importance of knowledge and information, and the escalation of environmental and economic challenges.
The book consists of three main sections, including twenty chapters, that address the emergence and development of the concept of sustainability, functional sustainability in the fields of production, marketing, human resources, and financial management, as well as contemporary topics that include technological, competitive, cognitive, and green sustainability, sustainability and quality, sustainable cities, and digital sustainability.
The book represents an important scientific addition for researchers and students of public administration and business administration, and an integrated reference in studying the concept of sustainability, its applications and contemporary trends.
