The President of the University of Shatrah, Professor Dr. Bassem Abdul Hussein Al-Ghazi, met with the President of Dhi Qar University, Professor Dr. Kamal Hamid Al-Yasiri, in an official meeting that dealt with strengthening cooperation between the two universities, and discussing a number of files related to joint academic and scientific work.
The meeting witnessed a discussion of mechanisms for expanding cooperation in the academic and research fields, exchanging experiences between colleges and scientific centers, in addition to discussing the possibility of implementing joint scientific programs and activities in a way that contributes to improving the level of university education and achieving integration between the two institutions.
The President of the University of Shatrah, Professor Dr. Bassem Abdul Hussein Al-Ghazi, confirmed during the meeting that the university is keen to build effective partnerships with Iraqi universities, especially the University of Dhi Qar, pointing out that academic cooperation and exchange of experiences represent a fundamental pillar for developing the educational process and scientific research, which reflects positively on the level of students and teachers and serves the process of higher education in the governorate.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of continuing joint coordination and working to activate areas of cooperation in a way that is consistent with the aspirations of the two universities and contributes to enhancing the quality of academic performance and community service.
